Make it Pop!

They asked for something that would wake the viewers up. Something that would burst through the cluttered landscape of an ad break. Something punchy. Something with “Pop”. And thus, the idea was born. Focus on talent and bright colours. We would transport them through the looking glass. From their mundane ordinary world, to the magical bright colours of The Block.

Animatic

Here is the rough animatic put together from the storyboard. Note that the final music choice was different in the final cut and that the edit changed somewhat. But, overall, the rough animatic aligned pretty closely to the finished product.

Final Spot

The final edit took awhile to come together because there was so much compositing that needed to be done. Virtually all of the shots needed some form of VFX or another. All of the trampoline jumping was done on Green Screen. And everyone was shot solo, so everything had to be merged together to create the seamless end product.
